Location:
Celtic Rendezvous is located at Bauline East, Southern Shore, on the Irish Loop; 40 kilometers south of St. John’s. Perched on the doorstep of the world-renowned “East Coast Trail”; boasting one of the most spectacular ocean views in North America. The resort overlooks rugged bays and headlands of Witless Bay Ecological Reserve, home to rare seabirds and migrating whales.

Facilities:
Majestically situated in a natural setting, this serene, spacious, four-star oceanfront property consists of five two-bedroom cottages, four one-bedroom cottages, seven executive suites, four hotel suites, one two-bedroom chalet, and one two-bedroom luxury cottage, all private, tastefully furnished and fully equipped with fresh pine clad walls and spacious sea-side decks overlooking islands of the Witless Bay Ecological Reserve.
Our quiet retreat includes 12 full service RV sites, a children’s playground, an onsite convenience store with local crafts, movie rentals, a coin operated laundry facility, enclosed barbeque house and gazebo, a café with oceanfront patio deck featuring local home-made Newfoundland delicacies, a rocky beach for campfires and marshmallow roasts, guided sea kayaking, and a spacious, new banquet facility/conference room with 150-person capacity. Full catering services are available for weddings, family functions and special events. Our on site spa facility provides full range of world-class esthetic services including mud-wraps, facials, and massage/aroma therapy.

Celtic Rendezvous boasts easy access from St. John’s along Route 10 through Newfoundland’s oldest communities, including Bay Bulls and Witless Bay. Cottage, chalet and hotel rental units are designed to meet the needs of all vacationers, including family, business, nature lovers, romantics and artists. All units are tasteful, comfortably furnished, equipped with kitchen facilities, towels, linens, seaside decks, and TV/VCR’s. Some include hot tub/Jacuzzi.
The resort owned and operated by local community residents who provide top quality care, hospitality and service. We are located within easy access of boat tours and historic sites including Ferryland and La Manche, and within walking distance of Tors Cove and local galleries.
